Birth Year Matrix and Age Groups

Whenever possible divisions are assigned based on single year age groups. Age groups are based on the birth year matrix for 2007-2008 youth outdoor league (matrix expires after Summer Session 2008):

U-8	August 1st 1999 through July 31st 2000 or younger
U-9	August 1st 1998 through July 31st 1999 or younger
U-10	August 1st 1997 through July 31st 1998 or younger
U-11	August 1st 1996 through July 31st 1997 or younger
U-12	August 1st 1995 through July 31st 1996 or younger
U-13	August 1st 1994 through July 31st 1995 or younger
U-14	August 1st 1993 through July 31st 1994 or younger
U-15	August 1st 1992 through July 31st 1993 or younger
U-16	August 1st 1991 through July 31st 1992 or younger
U-17	August 1st 1990 through July 31st 1991 or younger
U-18	August 1st 1989 through July 31st 1990 or younger

YOUTH AGE GROUPS AVAILABLE

U8-U19 age groups for boys & girls
High School Co-Ed League (see below for more details)

3 DIVISIONS TO CHOOSE FROM

Division 1: Competitive (Class 1 or A level outdoor)
Division 2: Intermediate (Class 3 or B level outdoor)
Division 3: Recreational (Class 4 or C level outdoor)

Division Guide: A lower division team may not field more than three (3) players from
an upper division(s). Games will result in a forfeit. No exceptions. Teams are allowed to play up one age group and down one division for each age group they are playing above their current age group.

HIGH SCHOOL CO-ED INFORMATION

Division 1: Varsity (Fast paced & competitive for the players with high school varsity experience).
Division 2: Jr. Varsity/Frosh (Exciting & recreational for the JV/Frosh player who has previous club soccer experience).
Division 3: Rookie (Fun for beginning and recreational players. Little or no soccer experience…fun for the whole student body)!

HS Co-Ed Division guide:

Division 1: Varsity can have as many lower level players as they want.
Division 2: Up to two (2) Varsity players on roster per team.
Division 3: Up to two (2) JV level players on roster per team. Varsity players are not allowed on team. NO EXCEPTION.

*Please note: Sports City generally runs one HS Coed mixed league. If enough teams register, we will offer several divisions.

HS Co-ed Rules and Regulations:

6 players on the field ( five field players plus a goal keeper ).

A maximum of 3 males can be on the field at one time (including the goalkeeper).

At least one female must be on the field at all times or game will result in a forfeit.

All players must be registered High School students between the ages of 14 - 18. Must provide HS ID upon request.
