U6, U8, U10 Cotati League Info
 

The Cotati field is split into two fields using dividers. The
Fields will run the width of the Cotati field. The dividers are approximately 2 ft high and will run on one sideline of each field. Play is off the wall and off the dividers. The field is approximately 70 ft wide by 80 ft long. Goals are 6 ft high by 8 ft wide.

Teams and coaches will stand in the space in between the fields where the corresponding "home" and "visitor" titles are shown. There are no scoreboards, coaches are responsible for tracking their own score. If you are unsure of a score please ask the referee.
Referee will keep score and time.

 



 

U6 Coed Cotati League Rules
*All regular Sports City league rules apply with the exceptions of the following:

THE FIELD
: Field  Dimensions 70' W x 80' L.

PLAYERS AND SUBS
: A minimum of 3 players is required to start and continue a game. There is no goalkeeper.

LENGTH OF THE GAME: Each game consists of two 16 minute halves and a 3 minute half time.

SCORE: No score will be kept. After a goal is scored the opposing team takes a kick-off.

TIME: Is kept by the referee.

FREE KICKS: All free kicks including kick-off are indirect. All balls that go out of bounds are re-started from a kick-in. All free kicks including kick-off are indirect. All balls that go out of bounds are re-started from a kick-in.
If the ball is played behind the goal or makes contact with the side netting, it is considered out of play and is considered a goal kick or corner kick.
